If you care, come here. This is our open invitation to everyone driven by purpose.  

This campaign reframes care as active, ambitious, and essential. Care is what drives an engineer to design renewable systems, a mathematician to model ambulance response times, a software developer to build tools that help farmers protect their land. Care is strength. And it shows up everywhere. 

The campaign deepens Murdoch's established 'A brighter future is here' brand platform with a sharper point of view: a brighter future doesn't just happen - it requires people across every field to care about people and planet. For students who share that belief, Murdoch is where they belong, and where that care can become a career.

How you can support the campaign

Campaign Messaging 

Care, redefined 

This campaign deliberately reframes care. Not as something soft or passive – but as something strong, ambitious and essential. At Murdoch, care is what drives breakthroughs, shapes professions and strengthens communities. It’s the recognition that none of us thrive alone, and that the work we do every day is connected to something bigger than ourselves.   

That idea sits at the heart of the campaign and flows through four core pillars that guide every piece of communication. At least one should be present in every piece of content. 

  1. Care is strength: Care is not soft. It's not passive. It's one of the most powerful forces shaping our future - and Murdoch sees it that way. Care takes discipline, ambition and conviction. It drives breakthroughs in science, holds systems to account, and shapes careers that change communities.  
  2. Careers built on care: Murdoch prepares graduates who lead with care in every career - not just the ones traditionally associated with caring. Whether it's law, engineering, conservation or business, Murdoch graduates carry a commitment to citizenship into the world.  
  3. A university that cares for you: Murdoch creates an environment where everyone belongs. A campus that feels like home - where students are safe, included, valued and respected regardless of background, belief, bank balance or postcode. Support isn't an add-on; it's built into how the university works.
  4. Murdoch’s overarching care for people and planet: Murdoch's research and institutional commitments are oriented toward the things that matter most - i.e. food security, health futures, sustainable development, conservation, social justice and reconciliation. This isn't just what Murdoch student’s study. It's what Murdoch stands for, and always has.
