Exercise Physiology Services

Our Exercise Physiology Clinic (operating Monday-Friday 9am-5pm) provides personalised, evidence-based exercise support to help improve health and wellbeing. Open to students, staff, and the wider community, the clinic is ideal for individuals living with chronic conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and musculoskeletal issues. Our Accredited Exercise Physiologist will create tailored programs to suit your needs, with services accessible through Medicare referrals and private health fund rebates.

Pricing

Consultations

All initial consultations are 45minutes, with subsequent consultations being 30minutes. 

  • Student - $61.80 for the initial consultation, subsequent consultations $61.80
  • Staff - $80 for the initial consultation, subsequent consultations $70
  • Community - $110 for the initial consultation, subsequent consultations $90

Other Services 

  • Initial Diabetes Assessment (Medicare) - $93.25
  • NDIS (Self-managed and plan-managed clients) - $166.99

All students will be bulk billed under medicare.

Staff & Community Members are eligible for rebates under medicare and private health insurance.

Medicare will cover $61.80 of the initial and subsequent consultation costs. 

Meet the Exercise Physiologist 

Kyriacos Christou is an experienced Exercise Physiologist with over 17 years in the industry and a strong passion for helping people regain independence and function through movement. He holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Exercise and Sports Science, and Exercise Science and Rehabilitation. At Murdoch Active, Kyriacos leads the development and delivery of a comprehensive rehabilitation service, supporting students, staff, and the wider community in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

 Kyriacos provides one-on-one consultations and delivers programs under Medicare, NDIS, DVA, and Workers Compensation, as well as specialised group classes for Type 2 Diabetes. Having experienced injuries himself, he understands the importance of functional movement and takes a personalised, evidence-based approach to help every client build confidence, improve strength, and achieve lasting health outcomes.
